GRIPES

Since this is my first article, lets get my two biggest complaints out of the way.

Baseball Games Beachball

Beach Balls at the game:

If you want to hit a beach ball go to the beach.

Beach balls are distracting and someone could get seriously hurt watching a beach ball and get hit by a foul ball, I have seen people get hit square in the face for two feet away, break eye glasses and worst of all spill $7.00 beers.
Baseball Game Wave

The Wave:

Once in a while the wave is OK.

If the Angels are at bat and are threatening to score or are in the middle of a rally (It is better than the rally monkey). But, “NEVER” get the wave started when the opposing team is at bat. The Wave is for offensive rallies and distracts the opposing pitcher and fielders.
GOOD THINGS
Angels Baseball

Angel Fans have been great this year lets keep it up!

When 40,000+ fans show up for a HOT Sunday game in August against the lowly Tigers that is true fan support. Gil is gone! Benji Gil, although a strong hitter last year, was a defensive liability ever since he joined the Angels. Gil has the worst fielding basics I have ever seen at the major league level and with his hitting below the Mendoza line. It is better to see Adam Riggs get a chance to play then suffer watching Gil misplay routine ground balls and pop ups. Angel Rookies: Figgins, DaVanon and Quinlan are exciting and fun to watch and hitting .324, .292 and.293 respectively.
